Coke Recycles PET

The Coca-Cola Company has recently launched a major initiative around Reduce > Recycle > Reuse.

They've installed a major recycling plant in America to regenerate their own waste.

Coke have partnered with United Resource Recovery Corporation (URRC) to create the facility that - when in full swing - can produce approximately 100 million pounds of food-grade recycled PET plastic each year or the equivalent of nearly two billion 20-ounce Coca-Cola bottles.

The entire marketing push by Coke is called “Give it Back” & is to remind consumers that Coca-Cola bottles & cans are valuable recyclables.

Bag People are bringing consumer recycled products also - our range of bags made from recycled material is a great step in the right direction.

Our focus is always reusable... not matter what we make it from.

Beware :: Backyard Boys

Beware of busy mums & fanatical environmentalists.

How will they look after your brand & spend your money?

When selecting a supplier for your Reusable Bags, you need to ask a few questions & look deeper to make sure you are protecting yourself & your hard-earned cash.

When considering suppliers, make sure you :
- ask how long they've been in the bag business
- try to gauge the relationship they have with their suppliers
- ask about their quality & standard fabric offer
- always demand a sample bag

Also, find our about their Policies, what are their stances on :
- ethical sourcing
- environmental concerns

You need to ask the question to make sure you're comfortable with anyone else working with your brand & your money.

Until next time -- don't be afraid to ask the questions that protect yourself.
