Keep Your Core

In every business there are times when you need to re-think what you're doing & how you're doing it.

There's no doubt that everyone is feeling the impact of the Global Economic Crisis & that everyone is wondering how to plan for the next 12-18 months.

In these uncertain times, it is valued customers that will help your business through.

You must focus on what is right for them, but also what is right for you.

There will be times when your customers ask you for something that is outside your core area of expertise.

While it sounds attractive to chase after this 'new' business; if it is NOT an area you wish to strategically develop & grow, then you're setting yourself up to failure & you're setting your customer up for disappointment.

In the reusable bag business, we're finding more & more of our competitors are straying in to other (non-bag related) areas.

This is working very well for some because they have a plan & are making sure they have the right skills & proper resources to meet the needs.

However, some are stretching themselves way too thin & we're finding that more customers are coming to us saying "those other guys are trying too much & cannot meet our specific needs".

Bag People are bag people, we specialise in reusable bags... its simple.

Our path is set & we know what we're doing - we make bags.

How can we help you?
